BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. – Kittens were abandoned in a box near a high-traffic area in Bonita Springs Thursday. The Lee County Sheriff's Office received a video from the Community Cats of Bonita Springs Florida Facebook Group showing kittens being abused and abandoned, left alone in a parking lot in the hot Florida sun. According to the video, on May 18, around 10:30 p.m. a car is seen pulling over on the side of the road. The driver walks to the back of the car and lifts out a cardboard box with three to four-week-old kittens, before placing it outside Napa Auto Parts along Wilson Street in Bonita Springs.
